Personal Income Tax Calculator(For FOREIGNERS in China)
China's new personal income tax (PIT) regime will take effective as of January 1, 2006, with the cutoff point being doubled to CNY 1,600 per month, foreigners 4,800. This calculator is based on the New income tax rates and rules and for the people below to use:
(1) foreign nationals working in enterprises with foreign investment and foreign enterprises in China;
(2) foreign experts hired to work in enterprises, institutions, social organizations and government agencies in China;
(3) individuals who are domiciled in China and derive income from wages and salaries by virtue of their tenure of office or employment outside China;
(4) other personnel as determined by the Ministry of Finance.
